Although the cottage itself dates back to 1600 it has recently undergone a stylish and contemporary refurbishment that was only completed in Spring 2008. The magnificent original fireplaces have been exposed and the interior has been finished to the highest standards and decorated with luxurious furnishings and textiles giving a traditional, rustic feel to every room.

The cottage is designed to accommodate one couple. So upstairs there is a luxury double bedroom, and a divine ensuite bathroom to soak the stresses of the day away.

Whilst the living space on the ground floor comprises a galley kitchen, open plan dining area and a lounge. Finally there is a little boot room providing the perfect place to spruce and ditch the hiking gear before unwinding with a large glass of wine in front the fire.
